Atlantic Ecozone

No sea turtle nests or spends much of its time in Canadian waters. However three species may feed along the coast of the Maritimes. It is possible that other species may occasionally swim into Canadian waters. Such sightings (especially if photographs are avaiable) should be reported to the Leatherback Turtle Working Group.
