  • Request for Consulting Services

    The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources is currently seeking submissions from qualified individuals for the provision of a jurisdictional scan, draft template and complete best management guidance document for mitigating road mortality and habitat fragmentation of local populations of herpetofauna due to new road construction, expansion or improvements to an existing road (e.g. widening), and associated major activities (i.e., not maintenance). Detailed information on the procurement process, the deliverables and the submission requirements for this project is attached. All submissions must be received by January 10, 2014 by 4:00 pm. Please feel free to further distribute and share this invitation for proposals as appropriate.

  • Amphibian Translocation Contract

    The SK Ministry of Environment has some money available ($5-10K) to develop an Amphibian Translocation Protocol. They’ve committed to developing the protocol in cooperation with other interested parties in the prairie provinces, including the Manitoba CDC. Bids/applications need to be in by the end of November (they have to the spend the money ASAP), so please forward to anyone you know who might be interested, post at your institution, or apply yourself!
