Le Congrès Annuel 2011 du Réseau Canadien de Conservation des Amphibiens et Reptiles / the Canadian Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Network (RÉCCAR / CARCNET) et de l'Association Canadienne des Herpétologistes (ACH) se tiendra à l'Université du Lakehead, Thunder Bay, Ontario, du venredi 9 septembre au le lundi 12 septembre, 2011.

• Sessions de la Conférence - samedi et dimanche, 10 - 11 septembre, ATAC Building (AT on campus map).
  Les présentations orales et les affiches pour les sessions du CARCNET/RÉCCAR sont ouvertes à tous les aspects de la conservation biologiques des amphibiens et reptiles ainsi qu'à la recherché en herpétologie (dynamique de population et métapopulation, génétique, maladies, collectes commerciales, assessement de status, plans de recouvrement, suivi, protection d'habitat, etc.). Les présentations concernant des projets d'éducation publique et d'éthique sont aussi les bienvenus. Les étudiants ont l'option de compétitionner pour une bourse monétaire pour la meilleure presentation orale et la meilleure affiche.   Les Présentations orales seront d'une durée de 15 minutes, suivies de 5 minutes de questions (20 minutes total). .

Thunder Bay International Airport is well-serviced with multiple flights daily by Air Canada, WestJet, Porter, and Bearskin Airlines. Travelers on US based airlines can fly to a Canadian hub such as Toronto or Winnipeg and take connecting flights to Thunder Bay. The airport has several car rental agencies onsite or hotels can be reached by taxi.
