Canadien de Conservation des Amphibiens et des Reptiles
Two student awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting. Awards are for best
student platform presentation and for the best student poster. Each award will be $250.
To be eligible, the student must:
- have indicated their wish to participate in the awards process,
- be a member of CARCNET and have notified the organizing committee of their intention
to participate,
- be a current student or recent graduate (degree received within the past year),
and
- be senior author of the presented paper or poster.
A student may only win this award once during a degree program.
Relevance of the work to the goals of CARCNET (conserving Canada's native species
of amphibians and reptiles, and their ecological and evolutionary functions in perpetuity)
should be demonstrated.
If students wish to receive the results of their evaluations, they should notify the
chair of the students awards committee (address
on this website), who will request copies of the students' evaluation sheets from the
judges.
