Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia has 13 species of amphibians. As Nova Scotia does not extend very far north, most species are found across the province, in the appropriate habitats. Two species, the Four-Toed Salamander and the Bullfrog, have limited distributions in Nova Scotia. All of the species found in Nova Scotia are also found in Ontario, Québec and New Brunswick.
